A GM screen is always useful. I'd like to see some cardboard figures as well, at some point.

Re: RESOURCES for SQUK
I have a couple of ideas I am pondering.
1. A sort of life path randomiser. For creating truly random characters.
2 a random adventure roller?
3 after Doctor X mentioning of adversaries a randomiser for friends and enemies
Currently wip

Re: RESOURCES for SQUK
An electronic character sheet with built in generators that allow for both randomising and selection would be good......

Re: RESOURCES for SQUK
Sorry, misunderstood. What sort of things would be in the book?
I quite like the idea of a group of people creating a 'shared world' source book with a section on how to create your own. I'm not a huge fan of randomising too many things so you could look at including a few alternatives like in the advanced character system?

Re: RESOURCES for SQUK
The potential book is "legacy" and is a shared universe based on the original adventures. With a hefty dose of recent play testing.
It will probably become a kickstarter. I have permission from all the original writers and 90% of the original artists

Sounds good. I'll dig out my old GH stuff for inspiration. The thing that springs to mind is history, even if there is not a direct link to the plot in the present it would be good to be able to have the opportunity to set adventures in different time periods with some terms of reference from the source book.

I'm a big fan of Cthulhu by Gaslight and wrote a chunk of the Golden Dawn source book - an underrated era that lends itself to all manner of games. Have you read The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers? A good time travel yarn with a lot of early nineteenth century inspiration.

Re: RESOURCES for SQUK
Not yet pretty sure that's on my to read list. I find some story's evolve out of actual game play or when I am writing. I have an event in 1922 John bull tells the team that the last time he saw them one of them held a gun to Howard careers head and tried to shoot him. A throw away remark which let me reference the league of nations in the book.
I ran a massive time jumping adventure last year which has the team jumping all over the place. This year I ran a dimensions spanning adventure with the team following the previous years teams time travel adventures. This was run on two tables with two gms.

I have that book, being a fan of CoC and BRP. And I've read The Anubis Gates. Have you read Morlock Night and Infernal Devices by KW Jeter?
